Description
The OPC Server for Modbus PLCs is an OPC 2.0 compliant server
that enables data interchange between the DD-Connect RTXHDB OPC
Client and Modbus PLCs. The OPC Server provides read access to
all basic PLC register types As well, the server supports Concept
style floating point analog registers. Communication occurs via
Modbus using RS-232 Serial, Modbus Plus using a SA-85 card, or
TCP/IP over Ethernet using the Modicon NOE module. Please note
that the DD-Connect RTXHDB OPC Client only uses the read access
function to store data on the RTXHDB historical database and does
not use the write access function. The OPC server is
self-optimizing and auto-configuring to provide easy, efficient,
and reliable data transfer.
