Description
The OPC Server for the Fisher-Rosemount
Delta V is an OPC 2.0 compliant server that enables data
interchange between the DD-Connect RTXHDB OPC Client and
Fisher-Rosemount RS3 systems. The server provides access to
Control Block and I/O Block fields, and Control File status data.
Communications occur via the RS3 Network Interface (RNI). Please
note that the DD-Connect RTXHDB OPC Client only uses the read
access function to store data on the RTXHDB historical database
and does not use the write access function. The OPC server is
self-optimizing and auto-configuring to provide easy, efficient,
and reliable data transfer.
