DD-Connect - Lite  is an all-encompassing term that refers to the software and licenses for connecting process data acquisition systems to the RTXHDB historical database system. Data collection can be from serial RS-232 or RS-485 to typical high-speed networking. DD-Connect - Lite software can run on the process control systems, PC based gateway computers and the network file servers themselves. All of these connection programs have a similar interface for the user to select tags for collection lists, collection frequency, etc. ( 1000 Tags/Connection )
