System Requirements
- Windows NT 4.0 (service pack 3) or Windows 2000
- MODULBUS Interface (MBI) card or Network
Interface Card (NIC)
- APACS Runtime API (PN15939-617V4.xx)
Description
The OPC Server for Moore APACS is an OPC 2.0
compliant server that enables data interchange between the
DD-Connect RTXHDB OPC Client and Moore APACS. The OPC Server
provides read access to APACS (Advanced Process Automation and
Control System) MODULBUS (M-BUS) directly or via the APACS
Rack-Mounted Network Interface (RNI) or Network Interface
Module). The PC can use either a MODULBUS Interface (MBI) Card or
a Network Interface Card (NIC). Please note that the DD-Connect
RTXHDB OPC Client only uses the read access function to store
data on the RTXHDB historical database and does not use the write
access function. The OPC server is self-optimizing and
auto-configuring to provide easy, efficient, and reliable data
transfer.
